INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY/PORTFOLIO CONSTRUCTION

The Dana Balanced Strategy combines one or more of Dana's equity strategies with one or more of our fixed income strategies. This combination seeks to provide comparable returns to being fully invested in the broad equity market, with significantly less risk. The actual allocation between the equity and bond strategies is determined based upon client specific risk/return objectives The success of the strategy stems from its unique ability to evade the severe erosion of capital caused during equity bear markets, while at the same time selecting relatively undervalued stocks which tend to outperform other stocks in bull markets.
